7 POWER COUPLES IN MUSIC

Happy February ya'll! Hope you're feeling loved and happy. This month's post is a little bit different. Since Valentine's day is around the corner, I thought that it might be cool to discuss love in music. Maybe some of you didn't figure out the whole dating game yet, and it's okay, because the most important relationship in your life is the one that you have with yourself. However, today I want to tell you a little about couples that faced not only the usual love problems that everyone has. And it all happened while everyone was watching. I've compiled a list of my personal favorites for the most iconic couples in the industry. Most of these relationships can't be described as happy or healthy, but they're surely iconic. And I'm happy that I learned a lot during the research. Enjoy!

Johnny Cash and June Carter
My love for this beautiful music couple began after watching Walk the Line with Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. This movie made me interested not only in the story of their lives but also in country music in general.
“I’ve always wanted to meet you,” he said to a pretty lady with amazing voice in 1956.
“I feel like I know you already, supposedly responded June, who just toured with Elvis Presley.
After that there were tours, marriages, divorces, addictions and then -- a marriage of two great musicians that lasted 35 years until they passed away in 2003, 4 months apart.
Yoko Ono and John Lennon
Probably everyone knows at least something about this duo. John and Yoko first met in the sixties at London gallery, where Ono was preparing for her exhibition. Two creative souls connected immediately and the iconic romance began. They became a true unit of music, protests and love.
Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull
I won't lie, I wanted to write about this couple only for the sake of their photos tohether. In my opinion, both of them represented the love life of rock and roll musicians perfectly. Faithfull's path wasn't easy, especially during the years she was with Mick. They've been together for not a very long time, but Marianne managed to inspire The Rolling Stones to write their most famous songs. Also I'm already very excited about the new biopic about her starring Lucy Boynton.
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake
No matter what they say, the biggest pop stars of the last decade were an interesting couple. Starting from their matching outfits: total looks in jeans or the ones during basketball game. It all ended abruptly and not very pleasantly almost twenty years ago, but their couple is still remembered. Even in the amateur blog of a 19-year-old girl.
Sonny and Cher
They say we're young and we don't know; We won't find out until we grow; Well I don't know if all that's true; 'Cause you got me, and baby I got you...
Their love spawned some of the greatest hits of all time like  "I Got You Babe", "The Beat Goes On" and "Bang Bang". Husband and wife were a true representation of sincere relationship of sixties and seventies. Look at these outfits!
Alex Ebert and Jade Castrinos
Sonny and Cher of our generation? Jade Castrinos and Alexander Ebert formed their folk rock band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros back in 2007. I don't know much about their couple except the fact that they looked incredibly cute together and cowrote one of my favourite songs called "Home"
Linda Eastman and Paul McCartney
A musician from the world's most famous band met celebrity photographer in the club in London. They married a year later and never separated until Linda's life was taken by cancer. After the breakup of the Beatles in 1970, Paul taught Linda to play keyboards and together they recorded an album called Ram. They had four kids, advocated for animal welfare and spent most of their marriage life in the farmhouse.
