Crete Travel Diary
We returned from our trip on the last day of July, and time flew by so quickly! If you read this and not following me on Instagram, then I advise you to check it out, because there you can see many highlights of our trip. Here I would like to generally describe my impressions of Greece, because I can’t not share the adventures from this trip on my blog.
My mother and I wanted to visit Greece for a long time, and finally we had that opportunity. To be honest, until the plane took off from Kyiv, I had no feeling that we were going on vacation.
We did not have much time in Crete, but we managed to do everything we planned to do.
Although I knew that I would arrange a social media detox for myself, my gallery is just filled with memories from Greece. I advise you to always view photos or videos of your favorite influencers from vacation spots, and even better - from the place you are heading to. So upon arrival, you won't get lost in different locations and ideas, since you will have an approximate list in your head. And the process of filming will take much less time. You can see the result of our efforts here, as well as on my Instagram.
Clothing. I tried to be diverse in choosing clothes that I put in a suitcase. Despite the incredible heat during the day, the evening in Crete could be quite cool, so a couple of jackets were definitely not excess. To keep the weight of the suitcase below the permitted limit, wear outer clothing during your flight.
So, what did we actually do in Greece? Basically, this trip can be called lazy, but in our case we couldn't stay in one place for a long time or do the same thingagain and again. Every day, at least something, but changed. Several times we visited the nearest town of Rethymnon, which charmed us with the beauty of old-time buildings, the promenade and delicious food. We also visited the famous uninhabited island of Crete called Elafonisi. This unforgettable place has brought us a lot of emotions, I definitely advise you to visit it. Also we sunbathed a lot. Perhaps I’ve never been so tanned hahaha. But I still prefer to swim.
That's all for today folks. Hope you've had great July too!
