Exhibition day
Recently I looked through the Instagram and came across the news about the opening of one interesting exhibition. The other day I visited it and now I want to tell you my opinion. And don't think that I consider myself a critic, it's just my opinion :) This exhibition is dedicated to a photographer Christopher Makos, who was a friend of Andy Warhol, a famous American artist.
20 original photographs show scenes of the 70s and 80s in New York. In Altered Images series Andy Warhol himself posed for camera broaching issues of crossdressing, role-playing, artifice and eventually construction of identity.
There are not a lot of photos in this exhibiton, but each of it carries it's own message. The first part of the pictures is distinguished by originality and eccentricity.
The other part seemed to me even more saturated, because the photos show real life. By the way you can see there other famous people captured on photos.
So, these are my favorite shots :)
I hope this small review was helpful for you, see you in the next post! Wishing you more inspiration and creativity around you ♥
